2026 Annual Verification Exercise

Nurse License & Certificate Verification

The official portal for the annual verification of the licences and certificates of practising nurses in Bayelsa State — a statutory function of the Committee on behalf of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. Committee information, functions and leadership are published on the main website.

Status: Open for submissions.

Verify a nurse

Search by licence number or Clearance ID. Only non-sensitive details are shown.

Open

Look-ups are rate limited to protect nurses’ records from automated scraping, and every one is recorded.

How it works

Four steps from submission to clearance

The annual exercise runs fully online. No account is required and no documents are uploaded.

Complete the annual form

Fill the official Nursing and Midwifery Committee form with your licence, qualifications, rank and practice details.

Receive your Clearance ID

A unique ID is generated instantly on submission — for example A260001. One submission per email, per year.

Physical verification review

Officers review your record and move it through Pending → Processing → Cleared or Uncleared, with a stated reason.

Confirm publicly, any time

Employers and the public confirm your status using your licence number or Clearance ID — year, name, facility and status only.
